形態特徵

Shrubs; branches pubescent with short hairs.
Leaves coriaceous, ovate or elliptic, 3–8 cm long, 1.5–4 cm wide, obtuse or acute at both ends, margin entire or slightly revolute, subglabrous or glabrous on both surfaces, lower surface densely punctate, lateral veins 4–6 pairs; petiole 6–10(–12) mm long, short hairy.
Inflorescence mostly a simple cyme with 3 flowers, axillary or terminal, short hairy, peduncle 2–2.5 cm long; calyx tube ca. 4 mm long, shallowly 5-toothed, corolla tube 1.8–2.5 cm long, subglabrous outside, lobes 5, pinkish; stamens exserted, filaments purplish red.
Fruit obovoid to subglobose.

分布

台灣 : widespread along seashores and in lowlands.
世界 : S. and SE. Asia, Australia, China and the Ryukyus.
